March 2015 was a big month for us, as ClimaTech Engineering took on its first project for the KDV Voronezh confectionery factory.
We were tasked with creating the most energy-efficient refrigeration machine possible, and the customer insisted on a modern and reliable solution. The technological process of producing and storing confectionery products requires precise maintenance of the microclimate, so our system had to maintain the exact temperature of the coolant.
The result of our work: an energy-efficient installation with water-cooled TW-TMH 5B2000 WT-34-SPEC condenser, 5 Turbocor turbo compressors in conjunction with a closed cooling tower allowed us to achieve:
- EER coefficient of 5.2 (ratio of coolingcapacity to power consumption);
- ESEER coefficient of 8.48 (Europeanseasonal energy efficiency ratio).
The unit is capable of smoothly adjusting its performance in the range from 15% to 100%, depending on external loads.
Thanks to GSM monitoring systems, the customer was able to manage the unit remotely, from start-up and parameter modification to complete analysis of all installation systems.
KDV Voronezh LLC began construction of the plant on its own 14-hectare site in early 2014. The investment amounted to 15 billion roubles. Once it reaches its design capacity, the plant will create 1,025 jobs.
