Rooftop air conditioners for JSC “CPC”

Our company has completed another complex project for JSC Caspian Pipeline Consortium. We were tasked with developing Rooftop air handling units for operation in the harsh climatic conditions of the desert-steppe area in Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

The project involves maintaining the required temperature inside telemetry and communication shelters located along the entire length of the pipeline connecting Kazakhstan’s oil pumping stations with the Novorossiysk sea terminal.

The task was extremely challenging.

Firstly, it was necessary to ensure year-round uninterrupted operation at temperatures ranging from -45 °C to +55 °C.

Secondly, it was necessary to maintain the required dimensions,  as one of the North American manufacturers planned to replace its equipment. This meant we not only had to develop the units, but also ensure full compatibility with the existing technological openings.

Thirdly, the design and materials used. The units are corrosion-resistant, with all-copper heat exchangers and a fan group made entirely of corrosion-resistant materials with EC motors. The units have an IP65 protection rating.

Throughout 2020, all 104 units were commissioned. Our work was not limited to the development of a unique project and the production of units – commissioning was carried out by our service department at multiple sites, while testing and parallel training of customer representatives were conducted at our plant in Furmanov.
