“The cave in Zaryadye is a piece of northern Russia in Moscow. It looks fabulous, but I don’t recommend staying there for more than 15 minutes. It’s really cold,” said Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow.
“For us, this project is like the icing on the cake called Zaryadye,” said Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief Architect of Moscow.
The refrigeration unit is the heart of the cave.
ClimaTech Engineering was entrusted with the development of a low-temperature refrigeration unit for the ice cave.
To ensure constant and appropriate climatic conditions and recreate the Arctic environment, we designed and manufactured a compressor-evaporator unit with a remote condenser and a pumping station. All modules are operated from a single control system.
Cooling capacity 93 kW at a coolant temperature (40% concentration ethylene glycol water solution) of 9/ -12 °C.
Heat capacity of the recovery circuit 16 kW at an inlet and outlet temperature of 15/20 °C.
