When designing ventilation systems for nurseries, schools and other educational institutions where children spend most of their time each day, we place particular emphasis on maintaining stable CO2 levels recommended for human health, paying particular attention to ensuring the necessary mobility and speed of air flows, eliminating draughts and creating the required microclimate parameters, minimizing dust content in the air, with special consideration given to the heigth and layout of “work areas” for young children.
When developing design solutions, we are guided by, but not limited to, the technical specifications, the customer’s internal instructions and regulatory documents:
- Standard STO Non-Profit Partnership”AVOK” 7.11-2024 “Recommendations for the design of engineering systems for preschool educational organisations”;
- SP 252.1325800.2016. “Buildings of preschool educational institutions. Design rules”;
- SP 251.1325800.2016 “Buildings of general education institutions. Design rules”;
- LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design);
- BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method);
- SP 60.13330.2020 Heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
The construction and subsequent operation of educational buildings in accordance with our design solutions allow us to reduce energy, water and material consumption and create a comfortable and safe environment for the young users of the building.
