Effective air disinfection using ultraviolet radiation in supply and exhaust ventilation and air conditioning systems
The units provide a UV dose of at least 25 mJ/cm2, which guarantees the air disinfection from a wide range of microorganisms, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). The air disinfection efficiency according to the OMCH indicator is 99.9%.
The units can be installed on main air ducts due to a wide range of operating air flow speeds from 0.1 to 8 m/s and operating temperatures from 0 to +35 °C.
The units use the special thermostabilised UV emitters based on a new highly efficient ozone-free FOTOTRONTM amalgam lamps manufactured by NPO LIT.
Low pressure losses (less than 100 Pa) allows the units to be integrated into existing and newly designed ventilation systems without creating an additional load on the fan.
High energy efficiency is achieved through the use of patented reflectors with a high UV reflection coefficient.
The accumulation of live microorganisms in the ventilation system is eliminated, due to the exposure of high-intensity UV radiation to the entire internal surface of the unit.
The intelligent control system includes automatic power adjustment, emergency alarm, UV lamp operation monitoring and remote control.
