“The Beloostrov Medical Centre has no equivalent in Russia. In fact, there are only a handful of such centres in the world… This is the medicine of tomorrow, which already exists today,” said Valentina Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council.
A range of services was provided to implement the project, from project development and design solutions for the ventilation system to the delivery of equipment.
The complex, located on the border between St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, includes three modern medical buildings (a multidisciplinary medical centre, an oncology centre, and a laboratory centre) and nine auxiliary facilities to provide infrastructure. It has its own fleet of ambulances and a helipad for air ambulance services. The complex has 420 beds and 286 wards for adults and children. It is intended to become a new attraction for medical tourists from the North-West Federal District and other regions of Russia.

Special hygienic air conditioning units were developed for the laboratory building.
